I got both my UK Mindstorms Preview CD-ROM and the Mindstorms set itself since the last update. Why not take a look at what I think of Mindstorms ( 9719 ).
Mindstorms is now available from LEGO directly and at several Toys R Us stores around the country. I got mine from the Reading branch (I think I got the first one!).
I got two of the new 1998 sets recently, 8417 and 8428 . I think LEGO are getting better and better at designing Technic models so I am looking forward to building the Tow Truck. I am trying to pace myself but I doubt I will be able to hold out much longer :)

I tweaked the layout of each review so there is a little more text displayed across the page.

Okay, I know this is old news for most of you but Toys 'R' Us are currently selling the Space Shuttle ( 8480 ) at £49. At that price I couldn't resist buying a second set.
I have been spending far too much on LEGO recently. As well as the Technic sets I have bought two Train sets (4565 and 4559) and two Model Team sets (5571 and 5541).
Those of you who like the Technic range may be interested in Meccano's new range called Master Connection. It is a similar idea to the LEGO Technic and Model Team range. I bought set 0010 for £10 (motorbike in metallic blue/sliver complete with working suspension, steering and centre stand). This will probably give you a good idea if you are likely to enjoy the rest of the range.

LEGO sent out first first email circular about Mindstorms, the 'computer' in a LEGO brick. Click here for more information.
You can now download a program to create your own barcode sequences for the Barcode Truck set ( 8479 ). Click here to download it.
I may have to change the name of this site to the UK Technic and Model Team and Train LEGO since I bought my first model team set, the Black Cat truck (5571). I will probably get one of the train sets as well.
Added 11 new shops to the Shopping section and updated several others.
Added 5 new reviews to the Reviews section.
The Reviews section has been revamped so that each review is on a separate page to improve the loading time.
Added a piece count to most of the reviews.

Fantastic new site created for collectors of Technic LEGO in the UK. It has all you could ever want from a site if you like collecting LEGO and live in the UK. "What's the address" I hear you say? Find it at
http://www.westwood.u-net.com/lego/home.htm

Well, if you have any proper news, like a "Sale at International House of LEGO" or "Rare model found in the Durham branch of LEGO Hut" then follow this link or email me.
